Services for faculty

Reserves

Online library instruction

  • Librarians are available for Online Library Instruction Sessions in Canvas and over Zoom. Please use our Instruction Request Form  to schedule a session.  You can send a reference librarian e-mail if you have any questions..
  • Librarians can also embed information literacy modules into your classes in Canvas

Online access to articles and ebooks

Curbside Pickup for books in RLB

  • Search the RLB Catalog to see which books are available for pickup

Interlibrary Loan

  • Articles can be requested and delivered online.
  • Submit a book chapter request if you only need one or two chapters from a book.  A single chapter can be delivered electronically and may arrive more quickly than an entire book.

Research Consultations with a Librarian

  • Librarians can meet with you via Zoom to provide assistance with finding sources for your paper, project or class

Academic Support for Students

  • RLB Library’s Academic Success will be offering online consultations for Tutoring, the Writing Center, and Coaching (http://www.ubalt.edu/success/) during campus closures. Both group and individual consultations can be made and held online using the Appointment Tool in MyUB (https://logon.ubalt.edu/my.policy).

Special Collections and Archives

Beginning January 31, 2022, Special Collections and Archives will be open to researchers by appointment only, Mondays through Thursdays between 9 am and 5 pm. For additional information, learn more about the UBalt COVID Response page.
