2021 marks twenty years since the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001. Many remember where they were when they heard about the hijacked planes, or recall seeing the World Trade Center Twin Towers fall on television news, or know someone who was living in NYC or working in the Twin Towers. Those living in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. area at the time worried about the safety of friends and family working in or close to the Pentagon and other government offices. We honor those that died and remember, with hope, that such an attack never happens again.
