The University of Baltimore's Institutional Review Board safeguards the rights and welfare of human subjects—volunteers who participate in research studies or surveys. All research involving human subjects conducted by faculty, staff, or students must be reviewed by the Institutional Review Board.
For protocol submission guidelines, required documents and forms, and online training on the responsible conduct of research, visit the Institutional Review Board webpage.
Questions about the process should be addressed to the Institutional Review Board coordinator at irb@ubalt.edu or 410-837-4057.
