How to Use S&P Capital IQ

The Capital IQ and Market Intelligence Platforms also include Excel plug-in's to facilitate data download.

• To install the Capital IQ Excel plug-in, log into your Capital IQ account and there is a section on the top left that is red and says “My Capital IQ”. If you hover down on that, you will see a link to “Downloads” and that is where you can download the plug in. From there, you will just make sure you’re logged in to your Capital IQ account on Excel. 

  Once you have the Excel plug in downloaded, the top right will have a tab titled “S&P Capital IQ”. You will click on that and again on the top right will be a settings tab where you can log in with your single sign on username and password.
